Windows Media Player Visualizer

The classic WMP music visualizations, rebuilt for the browser, plus a few modern ones. Choose where the audio comes from and the visuals react to whatever they hear.

About these visualizations

Remember watching Windows Media Player's Now Playing screen? This is a free, fan-made tribute that recreates its visualization collections in your browser: Bars and Waves (Bars, Scope, Ocean Mist, Fire Storm), Ambience, Battery, Alchemy, Plenoptic and Musical Colors. It also adds three modern ones (Neon Terrain, Radial Pulse, Particle Flow) and music-reactive takes on classic screensavers: the bouncing DVD logo (yes, it celebrates when it hits the corner), Starfield, Mystify and 3D Pipes.

Use your microphone, share a browser tab with its sound, or open a music file. To visualize all of your computer's sound on a Mac, select a loopback device such as BlackHole as the microphone. Audio never leaves your device. Keys: Space play or pause, F full screen, Left and Right change visualization, R auto cycle.
